The Socialist Party has described president Edgar Lungu’s government as the most corrupt in Zambia’s history.
Socialist Party Secretary General Cosmas Musumali has expressed worry that the ruling Patriotic Front which promised to fight corruption while in opposition, is now allegedly engulfed in several allegations of corruption.
He says this is evidenced by the numbers of corruption cases been recorded both in the financial intelligence report and auditor general’s report.
Dr. Musumali says it is for this reason he has doubted President Lungu’s commitment to fight corruption in the country.
He tells Qtv News that there is no fight against corruption in Zambia because government has failed to eradicate it.
